Minister's Welcome
About LPCDear Friend,

Welcome to our website.

Lucan Presbyterian Church is a growing family of Christians who come from a variety of different church backgrounds, traditions and nationalities. It's a privilege to be part of such an exciting community.

If there was one word to describe what we are about it is "grace".
We are just ordinary people who know that God hasn't treated us as we deserve.
If he had, it would be curtains for us - in this life and in the life to come.
We believe that he came in Jesus Christ to give us a second chance.
He's made everything all right for us when everything was all wrong. Of course, this is not what we deserve. That's what we mean by "grace". We think it's amazing and therefore we want to treat other people the way God has treated us.
So, in L.P.C. we don't claim to be better than anybody else. Since Jesus Christ is the bread of life, we are simply beggars telling other beggars where to find bread !
Regardless of your age, background, experience or previous church connections you are welcome to come and visit us. Sunday mornings at 10.30 a.m. is when the community comes together for worship and fellowship. That's the occasion when we expect God to meet with us. Here, we express our love for him, ask him for anything that's needed and even more important listen to what he wants to say to us.

If you have any question about L.P.C. or would like to know more about the Christian faith, please contact us at the church office 6280217 or email us at?office@lpc.ie

We hope you enjoy surfing the site, which will be regularly updated and expanded.

Yours sincerely,
Trevor W.J. Morrow,
Minister

About the Presbyterian Church
About LPC

As a Presbyterian or Reformed church, we are part of a fellowship of churches in Ireland and throughout the world who are committed to the ongoing reformation and renewal of the one church of Jesus Christ, in accordance with the scriptures and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, as part of our ministry, we want to encourage and affirm every congregation and community, regardless of denomination, where the presence and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ is found.
